Karen Lynne Troxel, 76, of San Antonio and formerly of Cameron, died Saturday, April 4, 2020, at her home.
Private family services will be held at the Oak Hill Pavilion in Cameron.
Mrs. Troxel was born Nov. 20, 1943, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Carl and Hazel (Miller) Fouts. She married James Troxel in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 2019. She had worked as a drug counselor for many years.
She is survived by: son, Michael Troxel of San Antonio; daughter, Michelle Lynn Troxel of Everett, Wash.; sister, Robbie Sullivan of Iowa; and three grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
