_{Juan Manuel Cardona, 48, of Cameron died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021, in a Temple hospital.} 

_{Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at St. Monica Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Monica Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at St. Monica Church.}

_{Mr. Cardona was born February 7, 1973 in Mexico to Abraham Cardona and Teodora Baez Cardona.  He was a self-employed cabinet maker. He truly was a master craftsman being able to build just about anything.  He married Rosa Linda Reyes. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing and coaching soccer and he loved music.}

_{He is survived by: wife, Rosa Cardona of Cameron; son, Juan “Manny” Cardona Jr. of Cameron; daughter, Celeste Cardona of Cameron; mother, Teodora Cardona of Cameron; brothers, Agustin Cardona of Cameron, Fidel Cardona of Cameron and Angel Cardona of Cameron; sisters, Rosa Alonso of Cameron, Catalina Perez of Cameron, Socorro Alonso of Ben Arnold, Engracia Cardona of California and Hortencia Cardona San Luis, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.}
