John Robert Schlemmer

John Robert Schlemmer, 79, of Milano, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, in a Temple hospital. 

Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Ben Arnold Cemetery in Ben Arnold.

Mr. Schlemmer was born in Rockdale to Ernest A. and Anna (Jedlicka) Schlemmer.  He retired from Alcoa.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Cantey; two brothers, Charles Pete Schlemmer and Ernest Mike Schlemmer.

He is survived by: a brother, James Schlemmer and wife Tonetta of Cameron.
