John Michael Tomascik

John Michael Tomascik, 66, of Buckholts, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tomascik, a Sr. Maintenance Specialist as Pactiv, was born Oct. 10, 1954, in Cameron to Johnnie and Mabellene (Denker) Tomascik. He married Ruth Ann Riola and she preceded him in death.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was active with the Milam County Livestock Show serving as Swine Superintendent.

Mr. Tomascik was also preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Marie Tomascik and sister, Carol Schneider. 

He is survived by: son, Michael Tomascik and wife Donelle Keen-Tomascik of Cameron; daughters, Stacy Waldrop and husband Jacob of Katy, and Stephanie Jones and husband Brent of Cibolo; brother, Dennis Tomascik and wife Sue of Rogers; sister          , Lori and Bill Broughton of Temple; grandchildren, Wyatt Waldrop, Sadie Waldrop, Kaden Jones, Karson Jones, Natalie Scott, Madison Karl and Logan Pevehouse; and six great-grandchildren; and special companion, Linda Lemons.

Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Memorial Park, American Cancer Society or the charity of Donor’s choice.
