Homer Lee Mowdy, 63, of the Hanover Community of Milam County, died Monday, March 4, 2019, at his home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, at Liberty Community Cemetery near Hanover. Mr. Mowdy, a truck driver and truck mechanic, was born Sept. 1, 1955, to E.C. and Rosie Lee (Smith) Mowdy. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Edward Mowdy. He is survived by: a sister, Frances Yount and husband Jack of Minerva. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
