Glenda Fayrene Moseley

Glenda Fayrene Moseley, age 83, formerly of Cameron, passed from this life during the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at her home in Morgan’s Point Resort. She was born on the Nov. 12, 1938, in Temple, to parents Walter Smith Davidson and Mildred Queen Shepperd. 

She worked as Director of Rural Operations for the Hill Country Transit District until retiring in 2013. Glenda also owned MGM Travel and MGM Defensive Driving School. She served on the advisory board for the Central Texas Council of Governments and as Milam County Election Judge. Glenda was also director of the Senior Citizen’s Center in Cameron, Milam County Red Cross Blood Bank Chairman, and a Girl Scout leader. She was one of five founding members of the Community Transportation Association (CTAA) National Roadeo committee. Glenda was a licensed paramedic and EMT instructor for the Texas Department of Health. She was a founding member of the Cameron Volunteer Ambulance Service including serving as President. Glenda was an active member of Anchor of Hope Fellowship in Belton. 

Glenda had a fierce love for her family and a passion for travel. She will be deeply missed by all those that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul Davidson and W.S. Davidson Jr.; sister, Jo Ann Jordan; and son-in-law, Michael Pruitt. 

Glenda leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, John Allen Moseley and wife Tammy of Harker Heights; daughter, Meredith Pruitt of Morgan’s Point Resort; grandchildren include Chris Moseley and wife Stephane of Gatesville, Kaitlyn Moseley and fiancé Blake Mican of Royce City, Colten Moseley of  Crowley, Alex, Michael and Jordan Pruitt of Morgan’s Point Resort, great-grandchildren Preston and Paislee Moseley of Gatesville; and dear friend and travel partner Mary Harper of Morgan’s Point Resort.
