Dorothy Lee Sadler

Dorothy Lee Sadler, 72, of Cameron, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at her home.

Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.  Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sadler was born June 4, 1949, in Cameron, to Jim Wesley “Jack” and Ruby Lee (Condry) Pratt. She worked as a retail sales clerk and in home healthcare for many years.

She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Kenneth Eugene Sadler in 2005. 

She is survived by: son, Daniel Edward Sadler of Tarkington Prairie; daughter, Diana Shafer and husband Harvey of Cameron; brothers, Jim Wesley Pratt of Elkhart, JD Pratt of Cameron, James Pratt of Beaver, Okla., Lewis Pratt of Cameron, and Kenneth Pratt of Cameron; sisters, Gladys Mathis of Cameron, Mary Rodgers of Illinois, Linda Ahrendt of Cameron and Betty Cannaday of Cameron; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
