_{Delores Marie “Dee” Pelzel, age 72 of Thorndale, passed away early Tuesday morning, Feb. 8, 2022, at her home in Thorndale.}  

_{Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor.}

_{Dee was born Oct. 2, 1949, in Austin to Freddie Nolan and Grace Marie (Burkhart) Hobbs. On May 9, 1998, she and John Pelzel were married in Thorndale.  Dee was a homemaker.}

_{Dee is preceded in death by her parents, Nolan Hobbs and Grace Maxwell and her husband John Pelzel in 2007.}

_{Surviving are her daughters, Millette Fisher of Thorndale and Vanessa Arms of Mexico; sons, Lance Guerrero and wife Jennifer of San Angelo and Ryan Pelzel of Thorndale; step-children, John, Krystal and Kellye and their families; brothers, Jerry Maxwell and wife Teri and Mike Hobbs and wife Kim; brother-in-law, David Pelzel of Thorndale; six grandchildren, Mason, Anthony, Hannah, Jacqueline, Destiny and Maria; one great granddaughter, Ella Grace; four nieces and a nephew along with her fur babies, Belle and Elsa.}
