Debra Lynn “Debbie” Sims

Debra Lynn “Debbie” Sims, 63, of Rosebud, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at a Waco Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, in the First United Methodist Church in Rosebud. Rev. Phil Shuler will officiate.

Debbie was born March 28, 1957, in Cameron to J C and Leola Lindeman Komar. She grew up in Cameron and married the love of her life, Bobby Sims, on June 1, 1973. She welcomed five sons who brought so much joy to her world. She spent most of her years as a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rosebud. She truly lived life to the fullest. Her smile is one to never be forgotten and her laugh was contagious to all that knew her. She idolized her children and grandchildren and loved her family and friends tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Sims; her sons, Dusten Sims and wife Crystal, Waylon Sims, Robby Sims and wife Melissa, Harley Sims and wife Ashley, Matthew Sims and wife Christina; mother, Leola Komar; and brother, Don Komar, all of Rosebud; eight grandsons; seven granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
