Alberto Aguillon Sr.

Alberto Aguillon Sr., 79, of Mineral Wells and formerly of Cameron, died Thursday in a Fort Worth hospital. 

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hernandez Cemetery.

Mr. Aguillon was born Jan. 24, 1941, in Maysfield to Alfonso and Sophia (Valdez) Aguillon. He had worked on the railroad for many years and also as a farmer for many years.  

He was preceded in death by sons, Arron and Mark Anthony Aguillon.  

He is survived by: sons, Richard Aguillon and wife Ann of Marlin, Gene Aguillon and wife Theresa of Burnet, Albert Aguillon Jr. and wife Erika of Carrolton, Matthew Aguillon and wife Amanda of Burnet, Mark Aguillon and wife Frances of College Station, and Joseph Boyd of Cameron; daughters, Anna Maria Gaskin and husband Roger of Breckenridge, Pamela Aguillon of Cameron, Sophia Rose Aguillon of Breckenridge, and Shaina Boyd of Bremond, brother, Florentino Aguillon of Cameron; sister, Beatrice Rubio of Branchville; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
