Milam County Jail Administrator to retire

Longtime top administrator at the Milam County Jail Doug Veach is set to retire.
Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore announced Tuesday that Veach has decided to retire after 15 years of service to Milam County and the Sheriff`s Office.
Clore said there will be a reception at 2 p.m. on Aug. 11 to wish Veach a farewell. All are invited to attend, enjoy cake, drinks, and fellowship. The reception will take place in the JP Courtroom in the Milam County Law Enforcement Center.
