Milam County COVID cases up by one today

Milam County Judge Steve Young announced this afternoon there are now 43 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The county had been alerted about two possible cases, though they later found out one of them did not live in Milam County and will not count again the county.
There are eight active cases and the Milam County Health Department is monitoring over 30 people. No one is hospitalized, but one person has died.
