Memorial Day ceremony will be on radio Monday

The annual Memorial Day Service on the courthouse square in Cameron has been cancelled for this year.
“After much thought, prayers, and discussion with County Judge Steve Young, Mayor Bill Harris and others it has been decided that it would not be feasible or safe to hold the Memorial Day service,” Thomas Wiley, VFW Post 2010 Commander said.
The Memorial Day service will be broadcast on KMIL at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 25.
“You are asked to remember our veterans from all wars in your prayers and thoughts,” Wiley said.
