MCSO Brown Santa Golf Tournament set for July 18

Milam County Sheriff Chris White and the Department’s Brown Santa Program will host the 10th annual Brown Santa Golf Tournament, Saturday, July 18.  

The program was established in 2009 by the late Milam County Sheriff David Greene, to accept donations and other charitable items to provide Christmas gifts to low-income families throughout Milam County.

The tournament will be held at Cameron Country Club. Tee times will be at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Food, drinks, and prizes will be provided. 

The tourney is also accepting hole sponsorships at $100 per hole. Those wishing to make donations can visit any Classic Bank location in Milam County or go online at birdeasepro.com/brownsantagolf. 

A live auction is scheduled and there will be various other challenges throughout the day.
