MCHC accepting Preservation grant applications

Anyone interested in working on history preservation in Milam County can get a financial assist. 

The Milam County Historical Commission is accepting applications for preservation grants until February 28th. These grants are intended to facilitate preservation of history in Milam County by any individual or organization. 

Any one interested in this financial assistance in restoring or preserving Milam County history in a project may apply for the grant. The purpose of this Commission is to preserve, protect, and promote history within the county.  Geri Burnet is the chair of the Preservation Grant Committee administering the grants.
