Create Love

A Cameron-area band will release a new single on Friday. “Create Love,” the first single and title cut of the upcoming full length album by KCD Band, will available on all streaming services on Friday, Jan. 12, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and YouTube. The tune was written by Casey D. “KCD” Stanislaw and Jadan Oliver, both Cameron residents. “We wanted to write a feel-good tune, not just about love, but about doing what you love. Coming out of COVID, we were all ‘masked up and blue,’ and our message is, just create something. Because when you create something positive, it puts more love in the world.” The accompanying video, featuring KCD and bandmates Jadan Oliver and bassist Scott Nichols, was initially shot in April 2023 in Cameron. “We hired an independent cameraman, Robert Gossard from Austin, who set up a green screen in our space downtown, and we just jumped around for a couple of hours while it poured rain outside.” The video was then sent to Joe Tacke at Cloudland Studio in Fort Worth, who sequenced the footage and added animation. “Create Love” is the title cut of the 9-track album of original material, due to be released on April 5, 2024. “We’ve been working on this since 2021, with two different producers, and we are so happy to share these tunes with everyone. Thank you all for listening!”  Like and subscribe to KCD Band’s videos here: youtube.com/@KCDBand Follow the band here:  kcdband.com or on Facebook @KCDBandTX
