CR 203 Loop to close

A Milam County road will be closed for several months to allow for a major grant project.
Milam County Precinct 1 Commissioner Henry Hubnik announced that CR 203 Loop will be closed to through traffic April 24 until July 24 for a multi-culvert replacement project.
This is part of the Texas Community Development Block Grant for nearly $260,000 that was awarded to Milam County Precinct 1 last year.
The grant money must be used to upgrade existing flooding areas on county roads here in the county.
In addition, Milam County Precinct 2 Commissioner James Denman announced that County Road 279 will be closed all day this Saturday, April 23.
