COVID UPDATE: Seven new cases reported Wednesday

Seven new confirmed cases were reported in Milam County on Wednesday.
The active case count now sits at 17, with 420 total cases.
"Today we have seven new confirmed cases of the virus to report in Milam County," Milam County Judge Steve Young said. "Five individuals were discharged, but two were admitted to hospitals. As reported by our local media, we now have cases in at least one of our schools, which was simply bound to happen. We must continue to do our part and that is simply to wear a mask, keep your distance and wash your hands. In addition, there are a lot of new cases to report for Texas."
