Chamber Banquet honors outstanding citizens

Awards were the highlight of the 89th annual Cameron Chamber of Commerce banquet on Tuesday night. 

The program included a presentation by Incoming Board President Spring Janke about picturing yourself in Cameron and a video presentation by Jorge Fuentes of Jorgito Media on Past, Present, and Future Cameron. 

The main event was the presentation of awards to outstanding citizens.

Citizen of the Year went to Rickey Williams of Classic Bank. 

Youth Leadership awards went to Fernando Reyes, J.W. Hollas, Kaly White, and Ann Warrick. 

Chamber Members of the Year are Dino Banda and Casey Cargle. 

Chamber Excellence awards were given to Billy and Diane Pair with Pair Plumbing, the Cameron Industrial Foundation, and longtime Cameron Yoe High cross country coach Dale Keen. 

The Dow Dodd Customer Service award was given to David Bolivar from Anderle Lumber. 

A new award this year for the Trailblazer of the Year went to Roxanne Witte of Discover Cameron. 

The Organization of the Year was the Cameron Ministerial Alliance. 

Volunteers of the Year are Mike and Kim McMahon. Business of the Year was awarded to Citizens National Bank.
