44 Farms announces new leadership roles

44 Farms has added to its leadership team as it continues its commitment to producer and retail partner success and sets its sights on furthering the customer experience and service.

“We are excited to announce these additions to our team. They bring unique experiences, energy and an abiding focus on helping others,” said Bob McClaren, President of 44 Farms.

J.B. Hopkins is joining 44 Farms as its Chief Branding Officer.

The Georgia native has more than 30 years of strategic and creative branding experience, including his work at the global communications firm – Edelman.

“J.B. is a brilliant strategic thinker,” McClaren said. “He takes challenging issues, simplifies them, develops creative solutions and tells the stories that people want to hear.”

“Over my career, I’ve touched global hotel chains, global pharmaceutical companies, computer chip manufacturers, and potato chip makers. I am passionate about other people’s passions and helping them tell their stories,” Hopkins said. “Yet, I don’t know that I’ve ever been around more passionate people than Bob and the 44 Farms team. There are so many stories to tell about hard working visionaries coming together so families and friends can gather together around the table and a great meal.”

Sydney Reese joined the company earlier this year as Director of R&D, Performance and Sustainability.

In this role, she works with Angus producers around the country that are participants in our Prime Pursuits program in order to improve cattle performance, health and sustainability efforts.

“We know that to continue to provide our customers with delicious and wholesome all-natural Angus beef in a responsible and sustainable way, we need bright, innovative leaders like Sydney,” said McClaren.

Reese holds a PhD in Physiology of Reproduction from Texas A&M University.

Ethan Begley has recently joined the company as Director of Retail & Online Fulfillment.

Begley comes to 44 Farms after years of operational experience with Chick-fil-A.

“Ethan understands supply chains, efficiencies and uncompromising customer service. He brings a unique set of skills and a passion for serving others,” McClaren said.
