Voters in Thorndale reelected Mayor George Galbreath by a razor thing margin while also passing Proposition 1 during the May 3 election. A total of 139 ballots were cast in the municipal election, according to unofficial results.
What nice weather this last week. Wish it would stay this way all the time except for some rain thrown in. And maybe not so much wind.
The Thorndale Bulldogs baseball team traveled to take on the Holland Hornets on Saturday April 26 for their regular season finale. Thorndale easily defeated Holland, winning 17-4 in five innings due to the 10 run rule being enforced and finished the season as undefeated district champs. The Bulldogs started the game on fire with nine runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Pedro Jimenez, Kade Becker, Nathan Grimm, Cole Harkins, Jaxson Eschberger, Lance Pesl, and Brenson Beran all contributed to the runs in the massive inning.
