Milam County Sheriff Brown Santa golf fundraiser

July 19, The Cameron Country Club hosted the 15th annual Milam County Sheriff’s Office Brown Santa golf tournament. In total, over 100 golfers participated in the morning and over 50 golfers played in the afternoon. During a break in play, there was also a golf ball drop fundraiser and live music too. People would enter a golf ball for the fundraiser and the balls were dropped out of a helicopter. Those closest to the pin won prizes. The live music continued in the nighttime with performances from The Jams ATX along with night golf where over 60 participants competed.

Keeping up with the Thorndale Exes

You probably won’t believe this, but the last 3 or 4 weeks, I’ve had 2 different raccoons, 1 smaller than the other, 1 opossum and a rat or another opossum as I only saw the tail and it wasn’t moving very fast, but faster than I was,in my garage. I still keep moth balls all over the garage, cayenne pepper all around the car, rat & mouse repellent discs all around and Irish Spring soap all around in the garage and anything else trying to keep out all the varmints . Seems to be a losing battle. Pest Patrol keeps my black boxes full all the time but I don’t see any evidence that anything goes in them because spider webs over the opening. Oh!! Well!! I know you are tired of hearing my problems.
