Mary Ellen Rivera

Mary Ellen Rivera, 45, of Cameron, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, in a Temple hospital. 

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Fuenral Home. Burial followed in the Hernandez Cemetery. Family visitation was held Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Ms. Rivera, a home healthcare worker, was born Dec. 9, 1974, in Cameron to Paul and Mary Ann Jaramillo Lara.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Princilla Lara in 2019. 

She is survived by: her husband, Cesar Rivera of Killeen; daughters, Maritza Rivera of Cameron and Makayla Rivera of Cameron; brothers, Paul J. Lara of Temple and Raymond Lara of Cameron; and grandmother, Lupe Jaramillo of Cameron.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
