Juana Ibarra

Juana Ibarra, 52, of Cameron, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at her home. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Cuba officiating. Burial will follow in the Hernandez Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.

Ms. Ibarra, a homemaker, was born Dec. 7, 1968, in Mexico. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church. 

She is survived by: children, SanJuana Herrera of Houston, Maria Herrera of Houston, Francisco Herrera of Mexico, Jose Herrera of Cameron, and Anna Herrera of Cameron; brothers, Gregorio Ibarra of Waco, Jose Roberto “Beto” Ibarra of Rosebud, Mauro Ibarra of Hearne, and Victorio Ibarra of Nashua, N.H.; sister, Maria Portillo of Waco; and nine grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
