Obituaries

The funeral services will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Davilla, Texas, on Thursday, Feb. 19. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the same location. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron. A small gathering at the family home will follow for those who wish to attend.

Carolyn Evelyn Story, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully and sacredly on Feb. 16, 2026, surrounded by family. She was 90 years old. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love, kindness, selflessness; attributes she exuded every day of her life to all whom she loved and cared for. These were lessons she learned early on from her cherished parents and grandparents.
