Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader

Cameron ISD kicked off its annual “Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader” Campaign during the Sept. 9 CISD school board meeting. Board member Franci Denio read a Pete The Cat book to Joni Graham’s first grade class from Ben Milam before the start of the meeting. Students got to take home a copy of the book. The campaign focuses on literacy across the district.
