Donation made for Fire Department Dinner

Cappolino Dodd Krebs LLP donated to the Cameron Volunteer Fire Department enough to cover a great BBQ dinner for each of the 37 volunteers during the VFD’s annual Chicken Dinner last weekend. Pictured are Richard Dodd and Hilda Eickenhorst from the law firm and Cameron Volunteer Fire Department Chief Henry Horelica. Dodd said, “these volunteers deserve our appreciation because they also have local interest in local safety. We have enjoyed their BBQ fundraiser for over 40 years. You get to support these folks who work hard to save your life and limit harm to your property.” Horelica said the department pre-sold 960 plates of chicken for their annual cook, their largest cook ever. Horelica said he and his crews are very appreciative for all that came out, supported the department, and left donations. He also said he would like to remind everyone to keep a clear zone around your home and out buildings. We are under a burn ban and general burning is prohibited. With the heat and drought as it is, you really shouldn’t burn anything, but if you must, use a barrel with a grate over it.”
