COVID UDPATE: Milam County records another death

Milam County has recorded its 58th COVID-19 related death. 

According to Milam County Judge Steve Young, this person was not vaccinated and infected with the Delta variant. 

There are 204 confirmed active cases in Milam County.

No one was hospitalized and four individuals were discharged from local hospitals. Nine individuals are on ventilators.

Young said all residents hospitalized are unvaccinated.

Testing will be done in Cameron tomorrow, Aug. 27, at the Cameron Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Friday, August 27, 20803 FM 487, Davila, TX (Davila Community Center) 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Saturday, August 28, 1700 Brazos Ave, Rockdale, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 209 S. Houston Ave, Cameron, Milam County Health Department from 1:30-4 p.m.
