County offices will be closed Monday

From County Judge Steve Young:

Due to the weather and road conditions most of the Milam County offices will be closed tomorrow, January 11, 2021. We will conduct Commissioners Court beginning at 10 a.m., only because we have some perfunctory items that must be handled and our two new Commissioners will be in school the rest of the week.

Sheriff White and I highly recommend you stay off the roads tomorrow, especially in the morning as the snow accumulation will freeze tonight making the roads hazardous.

We will go forward with the COVID-19 vaccinations in Rockdale tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. as a lot of people on the list live in Rockdale. However, if you are on the list and can’t come, you will not lose your place. We will put you first out on our next vaccination clinic, which will be conducted later next week.
