Churches unite to host Destination Dig Vacation Bible School

Sixty-eight volunteers from area churches united last week for Cameron Community Vacation Bible School.

Hosted at Grace Church, “Destination Dig!” explored biblical sites in modern day Israel discovering artifacts and historical writings. 

 In search of biblical truth, a combination of videos, singing/dancing, biblical study, craft making and snacks kept three age groups and volunteers energized for five evenings.  

“The participation by both children and volunteers exceeded our hopes,” said Carol Isaacks, VBS program director. 

Participating churches included First Assembly of God, First United Methodist, Grace, Holy Ground, Iglesia de Dios Evangelicas, New Beginnings Full Gospel, St. Monica’s Catholic and True Love.
