A Thanksgiving Message From Fawn

I am thankful for the rain and cooler temperatures. I am thankful for my old dog that recently died. She was a good girl. I am thankful for Aggie Football! I am thankful for friendships that lift me above the chaos when life gets crazy. I am thankful for a good book to read and dark chocolate to nibble on. And of course I am thankful for my children and grandchildren, and a husband who always looks for this column in the paper. Happy Thanksgiving.

High School Basketball Results, and a Look Ahead

The high school basketball season is nearing full force ahead. Girls teams were in action last week, and a few of the boys teams got started too. After the Thanksgiving break, local teams will be out in action and tournament play should be full swing as well. Let’s take a look at results from last week, and a gander at what’s ahead in the next week.
