Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death among children. A local program allows you to report when you see a child riding unrestrained in a vehicle. The program, called “Please Be Seated,” is managed by the Texas Department of Transportation – Bryan District’s Traffic Safety Specialist.

It’s quickly passing. The high school football season, that is. Week 5 marks the halfway point for Texas High School football, and several teams from the Central Texas area are making their bid for the post season. We’ll find out over the next several weeks who has the best chance of making the playoffs, and who doesn’t. Let’s take a look at this week’s football previews.
