Second Annual Coach Lieberman Classic

The Academy Bubble Bees team tennis group upset the Cameron Yoe Yoemen team in the final match of district play last week. The Yoemen finish with a 6-2 record in district competition, and earned third place. Next up for the Yoe will be Fredericksburg in the first round of the playoffs, slated to be played Tuesday, October 7th, in Lampasas. Here are the results from last week’s district match.

Thorndale Ex-Students Newsletter

Thorndale Exes Homecoming is over but so many great memories. Small crowd but seems to have had a great time. I always have a good time because I love to see all of those that come home. Next week we will probably have lots of pictures to add to our newsletter. Some come to visit and browse our memorabilia and stay but don’t eat. Some come to enjoy the whole event and either way, we love having them all.

District Cross-Country Meets Slated for This Week

District cross-country meets are slated to begin this week. Junior High crosscountry meets were held over the weekend, with Cameron hosting the UIL 3A-District 19 (Jr. High) at Cameron Junior High School on Saturday.
