Still time to register for Cameron Library’s Christmas Club

We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. Now is the time to get ready for Christmas!  We’ll be downtown looking for you on Thursday, Dec. 3, during the parade. See if you can find us. 

Books added to our collection this week include: “Daylight” by David Baldacci – an Atlee Pine thriller; “Piece of My Heart” by Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke; “All that Glitters” by Danielle Steel; “Shakeup” by Stuart Woods – the latest Stone Barrington novel; “Christmas Card Murder” by Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis, and Peggy Ehrhart - three Christmas short stories; “Killer in the Carriage House” by Sheila Connolly – book 2 in the Victorian Village series; The Legacy of Sunset Cove 4-book series by Melody Carlson –“ Harbor Secrets”, “Riptide Rumors”, “Surf Smugglers”, and “Turning Tide”;  “The Noel Letters” by Richard Paul Evans; and “A Christmas Resolution” by Anne Perry. 

If you are interested in having your child participate in our Christmas Club, let us know right away. 

You can view our available books on the catalog page, which is https://cameron.biblionix.com/catalog/.  Library patrons may reserve books online or give us a call and let us know what you would like to check out. 

We have over 500 paperback books that may be borrowed without a library card; simply borrow them and return them when you are finished reading them.  

We have DVDs and books on CD that can be checked out.  All items are checked out for a two-week period. 

The library is located at 304 E. 3rd Street in Cameron. Our telephone number is (254) 697-2401. If we do not answer the phone, please leave a message for us, and we will return your call as soon as we can.  

The library is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To use our computers or come in to browse and check out books, call us to make an appointment. We offer copy and fax services, as well as Notary Public service.  We are closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

We continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery.  Books can be reserved by accessing your account on our catalog page, which is https://cameron.biblionix.com/catalog/.  Books may be returned after hours in our book drop to the left of the front door on 3rd Street. 

Masks are required for visiting the library interior.  Hand sanitizer is provided at entry. 

WiFi is available outside the library and is available in the parking lot – the password is MilamCounty. Locate ”Public Library” on your list of available WiFi sources and enter the password.
