4-H camps set this summer

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Milam County 4-H will host three free day camps and some other fun activities this summer. 

Fun Day Camp will be held June 7 and is for Clovers, Kindergarten through second grade and this camp will be at the Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron from 8 a.m. to noon. We will be doing a lot of fun relays and water games. Please wear swimsuit. Please make sure you call to register. Admission is to bring a children’s book to donate.

Pinterest Camp (used to be FCS Camp) will be July 19 at the Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron from 8 a.m. to noon. We will be doing some fun activities related to Pinterest at this camp. This is also a new time than last year. Please make sure you call to register. Admission is to bring a children’s book to donate.

Photography Day Camp will be held July 29 at the Cameron Chamber Meeting Room. Ages 7-11 will meet from 8-11 a.m. and ages 12-18 will meet from 1-3 p.m. Limit to 15 per time. The kids will learn about basic photography and how to take the right pictures. Please bring a phone or camera. You must call to register for camp.

PlayStreets are family fun days at the Cameron Elementary playground starting July 16 and July 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please come and have fun with us. No registering required on PlayStreets activities.
