Wrestling Results

Cameron held strong in this past week’s tournament in Austin that saw more than 50 competing schools. Results from head coach Dale Keen:

“Payton Aguillon won three matches to win the 285 lb wt. class in the JV division. Domanique Borgas competed in the 220 lb wt. class and found it tougher going this week but wrestled well and won one of three matches.

Newcomer Zachary Hafley surprised the Cameron contingent with a win after just 4 days in the program. There is definitely hope for the future.

Others competing well in the JV division were Jacob Green and Seth Perez.

Alfredo Ramos, Ebonique House and Johnvanique Porter all won two matches in the varsity divisions to qualify to the advancing rounds on Saturday. Though they wrestled well they found it tougher going, failing to win in two matches.”
