Yoemen, Lady Yoe send multiple events to regionals

This past week, Cameron hosted the area track meet, which included schools from 19-3A and 20-3A. Just like with team sports, the goal of every track athlete is to survive one round and advance on to the next one. When it was all said and done, the Yoemen had four events move on while the Lady Yoe had five clinch a berth at regionals in Waco this Friday and Saturday.

Cameron has two first placed finishers, both coming on the girls side. The 4x100 relay team of Ashantia Brooks, Ashlee Balch, Destiny Anderson and Za’kara Bryson (50.460) took gold over McGregor (50.510).
