Yoe wrestlers compete at district meet

The Cameron Yoe wrestling team traveled to Georgetown Thursday, Jan. 25, and Friday, Jan. 26, to participate in the district meet hosted by East View High School. 

Everyone in JV won at least one match. Marbel Reducindo placed third, Theoden young was third and Bruce Jacoby finished in fourth. Ricardo Reyes, Ethan Jacoby, and Byron Crittendon also won matches but did not place. 

As for varsity, Brady Havens finished fifth, Tashawn Perez finished fifth, and Adawnia Young placed fourth. 

“Overall we wrestled better than ever this entire season,” Said Coach Dale Keen. “We have 13 schools in our district and it is a tough district.” 

Brady and Tashawn were named as alternates for regionals.
