Milam County officials have announced that residents in Thorndale now have access to HOP public transit services, offering affordable transportation to nearby cities, including Rockdale and Cameron.
The Thorndale City Council met for a regular meeting Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Thorndale City Hall, where the following action was taken: The ordinance updating the fee schedule for Development Permits, Building Permits, and Inspections was an update to a previous ordinance adopted in April of this year. The update lowered the fees for residential building code inspections from $65 to $55 and for commercial building code inspections from $85 to $75.
