Juanita Alba Anderson
Juanita “Alba” Anderson, 95, of Cameron and formerly of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026. Visitation will be held Friday, April 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Cameron.
James Nolan Griffin Feb. 21, 1987 – April 4, 2026
James Nolan Griffin passed away in the early morning hours of April 4, 2026, at the age of 39. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, Rockdale, with Pastor Matt Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow at Pin Oak Cemetery near Gause. The family will receive visitors an hour prior to services at the funeral home Tuesday.

Kenneth Ray (Snuffy) McLerran went to be with the Lord on Thursday March 26, 2026. He fought a courageous battle against Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Charles Donald King Jr. passed away quietly at his home in Cameron, on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Born in Austin, he grew up in University Park (Dallas), Texas. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School and attended North Texas State University, where he studied art.
